Ms.
White has been employed with the Tennessee AFL-CIO Labor Council
since January 1985. Prior to coming to the State Council, she
was employed with the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers,
West Tennessee Joint Board for 10 years.
As Office Manager for the State Council, Ms. White is responsible
for the day to day operations of the office, which consists of
the bookkeeping for the State Council as well as the Daniel A.
Powell Foundation, the Workers Assistance Program, the School-to-Careers
Program and the Labor/Management Conference. She is also responsible
for correspondence, filing, quarterly and annual tax reports,
quarterly lobbying reports, payroll, posting of per capita and
sending statements for per capita, assisting the Secretary-Treasurer
in planning meetings (State conventions, legislative and COPE
conferences, Southern Labor School Conference, etc.) and in getting
material for such meetings.
Patricia has
been a member of OPEIU Local 182 in Nashville since 1986.
