Mary Ann Leathers-Quirk, Members' Assistance


Director, Members' Assistance Program
Mary Ann Leathers-Quirk has been the Director of the Tennessee Members' Assistance Program since 1989. Mary Ann began her career on the staff of former Metro Mayor Beverly Briley from 1970-1975. She continued in politics on the staff of former Senator Jim Sasser and Congressman Bob Clement. From 1983-1989, Mary Ann was the supervisor of Public Relations for Cumberland Heights Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center. In 1988, she became nationally certified as an Employee Assistance Professional and became licensed by the State of Tennessee in 1994. She has served as Chairman of the Board of Employee Assistance Professionals and has been recognized as an honoree of the International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women.
Mary Ann is a member of OPEIU 182. She is the mother of onedaughter.

  • Serves on the Board of the Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee and is co-chair of the 2003 Annual Dinner.
